In the last 3 months, the people who have come into contact with the babies have given them a whole bunch of names and pet names. Here're some, just to list a few.
Let's start at the very beginning-
Their real names:
1. Jordan
2. Evan
Their names in hospital:
1. Twin 1
2. Twin 2
Their names mangled:
1. Jornan
2. Ivan, Even etc.
Tym's version of their names:
1. Ah Hui
2. Ah Boy
The Confinement nanny's version:
1. Ger' ah!
2. Boy ah!
My acronym-ed version:
1. Baby Jay
2. Baby Eay
Olie's Native American version:
1. Serious Face
2. Wide Grin
Aunty Daisy's version:
1. Sweetie Pie
2. My handsome boyboy!
Father-in-law's version
1. Ah Gong's Darling Grand daughter
2. Evans!
Daddy's version
1. Milk Dud- because of her sweaty, sour smelling head
2. Muttly- after the Hannah Barbera's snickering dog
So, it continues. I got saddled with A-jino-moto Ng Long Feet at some point in my life and various other names that I strangely enough, still respond to. Just ask Olie! Anyway, let's see how many names they get.
