Happiness is...

Sitting on the refrigerator stoop drinking Mommy's packet of cold chocolate milk first thing in the morning.

Secret: I give them 1 part chocolate milk to 10 parts plain fresh milk. But they're none the wiser and love it just as much.

Of course the grandmas will complain that the milk should be warmed up.

But where's the fun in that?

  1. heehee... oddly though, my #2 prefers her milk at room temp, and drinks less if it's cold from the fridge.

btw... isn't refrigerator spelt without the "d"? It looks weird somehow... refridgerator... refrigerator... ??? there's a "d" in 'fridge' only because it follows the "dge says /j/" rule, where if you have a /j/ sound at the end of a one-syllable word after one short vowel, you gotta spell "j" with "dge"... ie, you can't spell it "frige"... I think....

  2. Wow, you sure are particular about the spelling and grammar of the blogs you read.

I guess I must do corrections. Is it 3 or 5 times? It's been a while since I've done spelling corrections.

    Refrigerator, refrigerator, refrigerator, refrigerator,refrigerator.

    There. :)

  3. LOL... I would have corrected you in red if I knew how... :D Nah, only because you are such a grammar nazi yourself - but doesn't it happen to you too? Mistakes jump out at you whether you like it or not... haha.

And I was intruigued (sp?) by it cos I was not sure... and I was trying to work out why it was that way. So I was thinking out loud. On your blog. Haha.

Besides, your students might pounce on you and accuse you of not checking your spelling. And we simply can't have that now, can we? *grin*

*draws a big "C" at the end spelling corrections* There. :)
