My mom showed me a photograph of 3 chubby toddlers in a tub. Apparently, it was my two cousins and myself. We are all about the same age. It was a funny photograph and I'm still very close to one of the cousins today. The twins have a cousin round about their age too. Well, slightly older than they are and they have a whale of a time every Sunday especially now that they are more aware of one another and know how to interact and communicate with one another.
Last night, my brother showed the 3 of them a flying ant. Poor flying ant! And the three of them were most fascinated, Jordan was trying to squash it like a cockroach, Becca (their cousin was squealing her on) and Evan was making exclamation noises.
They chased the poor flying ant for a good 5 minutes till it tried to take refuge under the cupboards. And even then, they didn't allow it any reprieve. So it scuttled up the cupboard and clever Jordan opened the cupboard door and each sibling took each side of the door while Becca barricaded the top ledge of the cupboard door.
Eventually, we stopped them and distracted them away because we felt sorry for the ant and both my children looked like they were ready to eat the bug.
It was an entertaining sight and if you look very closely at the first photo, you can see the poor, traumatised bug.
