Ok, I feel extremely guilty for being so frustrated with Evan yesterday. I was glibly reminded that we, as grown ups can be crabby too and are all too capable of throwing tantrums too. So I decided that I should also remind myself, even when he's at his worse how thankful I should be for him and how he's a barrel of laughs without meaning to and an even larger barrel when he knows you want him to be funny.
He's transitioning into a nap a day but seems to still have endless amounts of energy that would put an Energizer or Duracell bunny to shame. The boy does not stop moving which also accounts for his destruction and he being constantly told off. I am not of the enlightened parenthood clan that believes that you cannot say NO to a child. The kid has got to learn. I'm not going to have the kid totally uncomprehending when he is told NO in school. Plus, discipline is discipline. No soft peddling it for me.
Anyway, here are so pictures of what he does on a daily basis, in between eating, snacking and the one precious nap.
I don't know where these boots appeared from but the kids do love galumphing around in them. They don't really know how to walk in them but stomping around seems like a good idea. Wait till they discover how this is even more fun when it rains and there're big puddles outside. I will then be accused of allowing my kids to risk pneumonia.
