Half of my Facebook page is filled with updates on the kids and their pictures. I do that because of people who know the children but don't get to see them very much. Bue I also know that some of my friends who do not have kids find it a tad obsessive and too 'mommy-fying' for them.
So I thought about creating Facebook pages for them. But upkeeping another 3 FB pages that perhaps one day they might be keen on continuing just felt like WAY too much work. Aunty J, who is now honourary Godma suggested a Fan Page. That way, I would have a license to be as obsessive as I want in my updates.
It was funny, when I set up the page, to be asked if it was for A) a local business B) a brand, product, or organization C) a public figure. They are none of the above.
The twins love looking at the page because their pictures are plastered all over the page. And Jordan's learned to look for the 'like' button on the page. She will announce that there is a "很好" on the page. She associates the thumbs up with "很好" because when we say that to her in Chinese, we show it to her visually with a thumbs up.
So anyway, be a fan of the kids and make Little J's day by 'liking' a couple of things along the way. She checks, by the way. Talk about Big Sister.

You placed J, E, and D's initials together and it dawned upon me that if you have another additional to the brood, called him/her I and voila, they are the JEDI knights!
ReplyDeleteOk, from your previous posts, I guess that means giving up your Kate Spade collection, so...yea, not a good idea.
IVY, no no no no no! No number 4. Thank you very much. It's not the Kate Spade collection that I'll have to give up, it will mean the kids will need to be home-schooled because I will have no money to educate them. And by doing that, I will go mad! And that just won't be good. :)
