This has been a week of firsts for Muffin.
First, he can now officially travel. Collecting his passport thankfully was a breeze. The secret? Go first thing in the morning when there is no crowd. We were in and out in 5 minutes. Muffin, who had to be present to collect his passport dazzled all the staff by his big eyes and toothless cackling.
And later in the day, Muffin sits up. On his own. While driving home the point that children don't really need us to buy them toys, he spend half an hour playing with a jar of balm and ends up sitting up on his own.
He is growing up so fast!

Muffin is less than 6 months old and to sit up on his own--that's reaching a milestone earlier than the average child. He is so adorable and you're right, his big eyes make hearts melt.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned once you used bean/ buckwheat husks (or something similar) to make pillows for the children. I used to own one as a child as it was very dear to me. Somehow along the way, I lost it. I see shops selling them for around $16 a piece and it's daylight robbery.
Can you let me in on where you obtain the husks so that I can DIY? Thanks in advance!
Ivy,
ReplyDeleteSend me your snail mail address. I have tons of extra husks around and I'm happy to pass you some. I actually have spare pillows around because we made more than enough for Muffin. So let me know what you want. :)
Ondine,
ReplyDeleteThanks a million. I have sent my snail mail details to your gmail account, which I obtained from your other blog.
